We mistake beauty for purity,

power for righteousness,

wealth for worth.

The pure have no need to preen,

the truly righteous give up their power for their belief,

and the worthy give all they have to better all they see.

Beauty, righteousness and worth must not be seen by our eyes,

but rather our hearts.
