We return home, paralyzed with fatigue from our day, yet they carry on despite trials that make ours insubstantial.

Perhaps this is why we find them so fascinating.

They are who we cannot be—tireless, young, eager, a world of possibility before them.

But the arrow of time denies us these things, so it is left to them.
